Punjab and Sind Bank , founded in 1908 was nationalised during 1980`s.The headquarters of the bank is located at New Delhi & has a strong presence in northern parts of India.As part of recruitment project 2012-13, PSB is to fill 900PO positions.
The bank also has advertised its clerk recruitment at the same time.With many banks completing their PO selections, the competition for PSB could be low assuming many top scorers have joined previous banking organizations.

Eligibility conditions Punjab & Sind bank PO recruitment are,
* 21 – 30 yrs of age as on 1.07.2011 (+5 yrs for SC/ST, +3yrs for OBC)
* Must have completed graduation with minimum 55% marks aggregate (50% for SC/ST)
* Those with computer knowledge would be preferred.
No minimum TWS cutoffs fixed & hence any candidate with a valid PO CWE scorecard is eligible to apply.
Process:
The selection procedure for PSB PO vacancies are similar to other banks recruiting via IBPS CWE platform.Based on the no. of vacancies, the bank will choose to call only those applicants with high scores in a particular ratio.
Interviews would be held for these shortlisted people & finally a merit list is prepared by taking your scores into consideration through which appointments shall be made,

Eligible applicants should deposit Rs.200 (gen/obc) & Rs.50 (sc/st) towards applicationfee either at the CBS branches of Punjab & Sind bank or at any other bank through NEFT on or before May 10, 2012.
The fee challan or NEFT receipt must be preserved carefully as their details such as trans. no,branch code etc.,have to be entered in the online application given at www.psbindia.com
On successfully submitting the application, donot forget to take a print of the generated form which is necessary for Interviews.
