Board of School Education, Haryana (HBSE) conducting the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test 2012 every year (at least once a year) for recruiting the candidates for various Teachers Posts in Haryana State Primary and Secondary schools.
Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test popularly known as HTET (Previously STET). The Validity Period of HTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be five years from the date ofpassing HTET
A person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher or Lecturer in any of the schools recognized by the Department of School Education, Haryana and affiliated by the Board of School Education, Haryana has to qualify the “Haryana Teacher’s Eligibility Test” . Qualifying in the Teacher Eligibility Test is made mandatory to ensure that persons recruited as teachers possess the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching at Elementary, Secondary and Senior Secondary levels.
This test will be conducted by this Board in accordance with these Guidelines and such other Rules/ Regulations/ Instructions/Policies laid down by the National Council for Teacher Education/Department of School Education, Haryana.
